Help Us Help You. Transborder Sewage Crisis Survey

Now through August 6th, Please Take This Survey!

Dear Chamber Members,

As you know, the ongoing transborder sewage crisis is impacting the profitability and sustainability of many Imperial Beach businesses. Due to the City's declaration of a State of Emergency, there is an opportunity to request that the City suspend or modify some of the current restrictions on signage and outdoor displays/sales that place limits on the advertising options available to businesses. The mission of the. I.B. Chamber of Commerce is to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Imperial Beach area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community prosper. We are interested in developing a list of recommendations to potentially ease advertising restrictions, and would like to get your input on the regulations below.

To understand current code restrictions, please refer to municipal codes, IBMC 19.52 (Signs) and IBMC 19.72 (Outdoor Uses).
