The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with SBA, San Diego Workforce, South County EDC, San Diego and Imperial Women's Business Center, and others for a Small Business Day Event. We hope to bring businesses and job seekers together to fill needed employment positions.
We are honored to have Deputy City Manager/Community Dev Director Tyler Foltz, as our speaker for the event.
This 1st annual Small Business Forum was started to bring job seekers and businesses together. San Diego Workforce has many programs, job seekers, grants, education and more for small businesses to succeed, get educational use of SD Workforce information and more. San Diego Workforce will be there and will speak with individual small business owners on how best to get employees, retain employees, and grants available for training.
These programs are endless and available for small businesses thru emergency COVID still available, California grants which are given thru certain facilitators that will be at this meeting to speak with you. There will be a lender panel discussing SBA, PPP and EIDL plus other revenues. They will meet individually with those interested in information on funding sources.
We are hoping we can get Veteran Associations to join us as well for those who qualify under these guidelines.
A huge amount of information and value, which you would need time to research. We will give you access to what you need, and if you can't find it there I am sure we can refer you.
